Academic interests are centred around Regional Geography, Urban Geography, Cartography, Human Geography, Environmental Geography, Disaster Management and Remote Sensing & GIS. My research area is for exploration the complexities of rapid urban growth and its implications on society, infrastructure, and the environment.
To further my understanding, I undertook a research project on “A Geo-Spatial Assessment of Flood Dynamics on Changing Landscape and Livelihood: Atreyee River Basin, West Bengal, India”, under Government of West Bengal Department of Science & Technology and Biotechnology. This specific research allowed me to specific achievement or skill. This experience solidified my passion for other different case studies and motivated me to seek opportunities to publish my book “Durjog o Biporjoy Babosthapna” (2022) on the basis of the syllabus of FYUGP NEP-2020 & CBCS UG level.
